Kabir Singh movie Review
Hindi remake of director Sandeep Reddy Wanga’s Telugu hit film ‘Arjun Reddy‘. Kabir Singh will fill romance in your vein. After ‘Aashiqui 2‘, ‘Kabir Singh’ is the story of two such loving people who cannot even meet. This love stories leave you emotional at the end.
A medical student Kabir meets a fresher of the college fall in love at first sight. She gets so stunned on the innocence of Preeti that one day he kisses on her cheek. After that, he declares in the entire college that Preeti is his soulmate. Now Kabir becomes a mentor and protector of Preeti.
Kabir’s character is full of difficulties. These old days have been taken from the heroes who do not understand the meaning of the word ‘NO’. In earlier films, there was a concept that ‘No means yes’. At the same time, people have understood that this is a complete misconception, because of which many people who see ‘Kabir Singh’ believe that anti-female content has been used in this movie.
Kabir’s role in this movie when he acts like crazy, he gets angry without any reason. Shahid Kapoor plays everything nicely. On the contrary, the unconditional and limitless love of Kabir is also seen in the film. Seeing so much of a character, it is understandable that Shahid is such a wonderful actor.
Kamini Kaushal, Suresh Oberoi, Arjan Bajwa, and Soham Majumdar have given a wonderful performance in supporting role in this movie. Kiara Advani has also done a good job in the role of Preeti. However, Kabir’s character has not been able to tie with any other character.
Kabir’s character seems to be quite suspicious because of not being able to control his anger and being irreverent obsessive, but his incredible flaws, complacency makes him attractive somewhere. It is correct to say that Kabir is a modern version of ‘Devdas’. He is a good person who has a passion to eliminate himself because he did not find what his heart wanted.
This is wonderful writing of Reddy and his team that does not allow the film to slow down in any frame. The background score and its beautiful songs make this film even more interesting.
Reddy’s direction is very good. They know what resources they have and how to use them. They do not miss anywhere. If we talk about the love story, it is a genre that is very well liked but it is a difficult task to take it to the screen. Reddy, despite a pessimistic protagonist, takes the story of the film to a very high grade and leaves it as a great movie
